COMPANY INFORMATION
 
Images of the African Diaspora was established in the spring of 1989 and is located at 1959 East Jefferson Avenue in downtown Detroit, Michigan 48207. The first work of art published was "Little Flower" by Carl Owens. "Little Flower" is a pastel of a young Senegalese girl surrounded by flowers. The most recent reproduction by Carl Owens is "Jamila's Surprise" which shows Carl's granddaughter at play hiding a surprise bouquet. There are 37 prints currently available by Carl Owens through Images of the African Diaspora in addition to other items such as Giclee's, Plates, and Tiles.
